The time has come, my friends – I’m officially done with college and I just landed my first job, ever. (Minus two internships and those odd babysitting jobs when I was 13, haha!)
Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that I now have a full time job as a magazine writer. To say I’m happy doesn’t even begin to explain it. This is my dream (blogging for a living would be my absolute, but it’s quite impossible I think!) and I’ve wanted to work in magazines for as long as I can remember. I can’t say much now except it is an up and coming women’s magazine. Even better? I’ll be doing the beauty pages… hello! This is truly a gift from heaven! I am so thankful for this opportunity and truly feel so blessed. 
That being said, I’m also quite sad to say I’ll be very busy from now on. Sob! So, Beauty Fool will be a little quiet for awhile; at least until I settle into the routine of my work schedule/life. For now, please give me at least a month to work things out and settle in, so I’m predicting the posting schedule here might go from the current 4-5 times a week to 2-3 times a week. Also, I’ll have to give “Beauty Tip of the Week” an indefinite hiatus because I will not be able to commit myself every Thursday to post. I hope you understand and it saddens me, but I’m still very much dedicated to Beauty Fool and I swear I’ll be back – you all know how much I’m obsessed with my baby, right? I just need a little time to settle into my new job, which I will also be sharing with you in the future here at Beauty Fool; a sorta behind the scenes look into the magazine and whatnot. I can’t wait to share my experiences with you!
Thank you all for the support after these two years, and remember, I am not saying bye (NEVER!). This post is merely a “catch up with you soon” post – I just wanted to write a proper post to let you all know what’s going on.

Hey Mary, thanks love! Hmm… if you want to work in mags too then just start applying! It’s probably best to do an internship first though, to get experience and “confirmation” whether you wanna be in this industry (it’s very stressful!) and then start applying for positions in the industry

Hey Sarah! Hmm… make sure you know how to write first of all and that it’s your passion! Then study media/communications/English for university, do internships at magazines and then start applying for writing positions… then fingers crossed your big break comes! Good luck!
