It is 12.38am and I am home from my very first Christmas dinner! Had a big feast at my friend’s house, there was 24 of us at the table… craziness. But so much fun. After eating, we exchanged gifts, then dessert, then chatter! I over ate so when I came home about an hour ago I took Bailey for a power walk, haha. I can’t believe I am now one of those people who have to immediately exercise after eating a heavy meal! Crazy. I also never thought I’d be the type to put veggies on my plate at dinner! PCOS, what the heck have you done to me?! But I guess it’s all for the best since I am becoming much more fit and healthy. Oh, and at dessert I ate some chocolate, and it didn’t even taste good to me anymore. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!
Anyway, my Dad came back from DK today and brought me the Danish beauty magazine Beauty Fool was mentioned in (!!!). So exciting. It’s nothing too fancy but it’s such a big deal for me – it’s an international magazine! People in Denmark know of my blog! How cool is that? I’m so blessed. My Dad also came home with this for me, a book by blogging superstar Darren Rowse. It’s called Problogger Secrets for Blogging You Way to a Six-Figure Income… how wonderful is it to have parents who support you? 
I really thank God for such amazing parents. Now I’m not sure about me being a problogger, but I’m sure this book can help me take Beauty Fool to the next level and possibly give me more things to think about, monetization-wise. I would like to monetize Beauty Fool so I can live off it, but at the same time keep my integrity and not become a sellout. It’s gonna be tricky, so I hope this book can offer some great advice!
And how awesome is it that Darren can live off something he’s passionate about? The Internet is the future, I tell ya!

Hey Renee, I definitely think you’re a problogger
I’ve been thinking about starting my own blogg for some time but somehow I just don’t think anyone would be interested. I was wondering how you first startet blogging and how you actually got people to read your blogg. Is it just something that happens gradually or did you have to “advertise” or something?
I’d be really glad if you could give me some advice

lol (: Start one! It’s so fun, I’ve got one, and even though NOBODY reads it (lol maybe that’s because not even my parents know about it?? idk I’m too shy I guess) but it’s a great way to practice writing, vent out feelings, and feel good about yourself! I feel GREAT now that I’ve got a blog! Do it! You won’t know what it’s like till you try!

You should def go for it! Perhaps I should write a post on my blogging story so far? But in a nutshell, I loved writing to I started a blog just like all my friends in highschool. However they all wrote about their lives (and I’m very personal so I didn’t want a personal blog, how funny that I have one now!) so I wrote about another topic I liked, beauty. And then I just wrote and eventually people found me. I closed that website in the end (silly me!) and then in college 2 years ago I missed blogging so much that I started Beauty Fool. I didn’t advertise to anyone and didn’t tell even my friends in the beginning, I thought they would think it was weird! Some people still think it’s lame (pffft rude) but I really enjoy it so whatever. If you love writing and have a topic you love to write about, (even if it’s just a personal blog about your life!) just do it! Just start writing and people will eventually find you. And tell your close friends and family, and people that will support you! Also, comment on other people’s blog because then you can start ‘meeting’ people and the you can slowly start to create a community

How spectacular! =) That’s funny… I do the same thing after I eat big meals during holidays, but mostly because I’m not all sleepy and befuddled like my family is (I guess due to me being vegetarian), so someone has to walk my grandma’s Pekingese. You have all the makings of a pro-blogger. Shoot for it, girlfriend!

I’m a veg too (or should I say I really try my best) so I didn’t get that bloated, sleepy feeling as well, which I really liked. Just had this nasty overeating feeling and a walk definitely helped!
