I know it’s a little early for those in the US, but it’s officially Thanksgiving Day here! What’s everyone up to? I’ll be having a big feast on Saturday night with some friends – it’ll be my first ever Thanksgiving celebration and I’m so excited!
So without further ado, this is what I’m thankful for this year.

First of all, I am thankful for the way God has put me through difficult situations to build my character to become more Christ-like. Boy has it been hard! But it has been some great lessons in life concerning patience (I’m am SO impatient, geez) and handling certain people and situations. Another thing I am so blessed about is this blog – I’m SERIOUSLY obsessed. Or maybe I need more hobbies. Either way, one thing I’m really glad about is getting the new .com site! I know some might think it’s totally dumb; I mean, it’s just a domain URL, but I have been wanting this for so so so SOOOO long, and I am so thankful to finally get it.
And of course, I am thankful for my wonderful parents, friends, my precious Bailey – and to YOU. Thank you for reading my blog, taking the time to write to me and just for all your support in general. I cannot believe how far I’ve come from that ugly little blog (seriously, do you remember what it used to look like?!), and now I have a design that I finally adore – it only took 3.5 years! Haha. God has really blessed my little space on the Internet, thank You.
What are you thankful for this year? <3
I am so excited to let you all know that I got a little quote in an article on The Look, the style website of the TODAY show on MSN.com. As we all know, Kate Middleton’s hair is all the rage now, so the journalist was talking about how digital perms can help achieve that look. Older readers would know, however, that I tried it out last year and it was nothing short of disappointing, so I got a little quote in the article!

Can I be honest? I wanna do it again LOL. My hair has been growing a lot so the damage is almost gone, so maybe in another year when it’s fully grown out and I get the courage (and do A LOT of research on the salon), I’m gonna do it again!
Thanks to Rachel Elbaum for including me in your article, of course thanks to God for my little blog’s exposure.
I would just like to welcome any new readers – please say hello!
I completely overdid the perfume today. You know those really horrible people who wear so much perfume you can smell them from a mile away? I admit I am one of them. But I can’t help it, I just love perfume too much! I’m about to leave for a beauty event (I’m excited to write about it, it’s for a new Danish beauty line!) and am wearing a new fragrance for the first time: Cosmic Radiance by Britney Spears.

Isn’t the bottle pretty? I’ll write a proper review soon, but so far I am lovin’ it! I’ve never really paid much attention to Britney’s fragrances, but I remember I really loved Curious when it first came out but never got around to buying it.
What’s your favorite Britney Spears perfume?

As a vanilla lover, I’m always really bummed out that Asia seems to HATE anything vanilla. Ugh! For example, The Body Shop stores here do not carry their Vanilla range and when I asked why, they said that “Vanilla doesn’t sell well in Asia.” Apparently, vanilla is too boring. Well excuse me! I love Vanilla so I was absolutely delighted when my friend Glo (who is leaving Singapore forever soon, sniff sniff) got this for my birthday. I’ve been using it religiously ever since and adore it! I have never heard of Bomb Cosmetics (until I checked out their site; reminds me of Lush!) but I am really loving what they have to offer so far. The shower butter is a thick solid balm that warms up in your palms and spreads nicely over your skin. Furthermore, it has a really sweet bubble-gum vanilla smell. I was especially happy when I found out that Bomb Cosmetics products are all handmade and natural – that’s always a big plus for me!
Has anyone else tried Bomb Cosmetics? What did you think? And anyone else completely obsessed with vanilla?

I know everyone is having the Monday blues (or is it just me? Sigh), so I thought I’d put up some cute images today to put a smile on your face (or maybe just mine?). Either way, I am so in love with my precious Bailey. I’ve been wanting to take photos of Bailey’s eye – they are exactly like tiger’s eye (the gemstone). These photos don’t do it justice, but she has the most amazing brown/yellow eyes – just stunning.

I’ll be back tonight with a new beauty find I’ve been using to death recently… if you love vanilla as much as I do, you’ll love this one!

It’s a Saturday night, and the feelings right… and I’m thinking about mascara! I am on the hunt for a new one. I have found my absolute favorite mascara years ago, but it’s by Lancome and I’ve stopped since I found out that they test on animals big time. I refuse to buy it again until L’Oreal (who makes Lancome) announces they no longer test on animals (there are rumors it is in the works). Anyway, I’ve tried many of them and none of them are as good as my precious Lancome Virtuose. I know finding the perfect mascara is like, the HARDEST thing in beauty, (not to mention the most fun to try out), so I thought we could have a mascara discussion. What are you favorites? What is the best mascara EVER in your opinion? (Oh and while we’re at it, what’s the worse? My worse would be Fabulash by Revlon – yuck! More like FabuLAME. Sigh… I’m lame. OK anyhow, talk to you in the comments.
P.S. Do you like the new banner? It’s a substitute, until I get the final from the illustrator, but this is the gist of it. I really hope you like it! I spent the whole day drawing it, and then the whole night editing it so my eyeballs are ready to fall out!

I spy with my little eye… is this a new trend? Because I am SO into it! I used to do this with pony tails but never thought of it in an updo or bun. I noticed Kristen’s updo for her recent red carpet for Twilight, then remember reading about Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s unique braided hair a few months back. I remember loving it but had completely forgot about it! Either way, I think we might see more of this trend, and YAY! This is such a cute little way to spice up an ordinary updo – and don’t you think there something so girly and playful about it? Love it!
What do you think? Would you put mini braids in your hair?
