Even though I love wearing nail polish (now more than ever!), I rarely get manicures so when I do, it’s a huge treat. And this is my choice nail color of the moment, Russian Navy by OPI. I first tried it out at Marc Jacob’s Eau So Fresh fragrance launch where they were having express manicures for their guests, and loved the color so much. It seems that express manicures are popular at events (I’m not complaining!), ’cause I got this lovely manicure yesterday at Beauty for Japan, a fundraising event organized by the lovely Faz.
Once I spotted they had Russian Navy, I knew I had to have it again! It’s a nice switch from black (which I always wear) and the last time, my manicure lasted for 9 days without any chipping… amazing. I need to get myself some OPI polishes, asap!

Ohhh mani pedis are the shiznit. The end product is always oh-so-pretty! then again, the fact that I suck at painting the nails on my right hand (i’m right-handed) probably makes anyone else’s work look better heh heh. I usually get nail-art done when I go for a mani pedi
Loving the the Russian Navy, Renee! I, too, switch over to navy blues when I get bored with black. OPI nail polishes are super good, plus the colours are so intense and vibrant. Love em!
Thanks Ri! Yeah, they are such a treat, aren’t they? I feel bad when I get a pedicure (which has happened once in my life, lol!)… imagine touching other people’s feet? Gross. I felt so awkward. But the end result was so amazing, it’s worth it, haha. xx
I love navy polishes! There are quite a few in my collection, and to be quite honest I could probably do with only 2 of them =) I also find OPI polishes to last quite a long time on my nails.
One of my favorite OPI polishes that I wear quite often is a red called “Vodka and Caviar” by OPI!

OPI does last ridiculously long, I love it! I’ll have to check out Vodka and Caviar, heard so much about it… sounds so “expensive” haha. xx

I normally go for natural colors if I have to do the nails myself. This way, mistakes are easily forgiven. However, I think I’m going to go for a bright pink this flip-flop season.

I love navy! My favourite nail polish right now is from MECCA Cosmetica (i’m not sure if you have this brand/shop but its worth looking up) and its this amazing lilac colour!
Lilac is next on my list! I don’t think we have MECCA here though. I’ve heard a lot about it. Perhaps I should look at Sephora one day, (they seriously have everything haha). xx

I’ve been wearing a lot of dark browns and very dark reds (that are more black in some lights), but that navy….swooon. I feel my browns will very soon be changing to navy!

Loving the navy blue! I have a lighter skin tone so I just have a hard time wearing darker nail polish – just never looks good on me! But I do love it on others! I usually stick with bright pinks and reds but I just tried a nude color and I love it!
I’m currently absolutely addicted to nail polishes! Right now I have grey on my nails, sounds strange but I think it actually looks really pretty! x I’ve been wanting a navy blue polish for so long too though, it’s one of my favourite colous! Definitely looking into Russian Navy!
Hey! Lol, I’m sort of half-into what you’re on about, I have black with multicolored flecks on my left hand and purple on my right- the navy comes into play on my toes
