It’s the scent of a princess!
… OK, she’s actually “The Duchess of Cambridge” but pfft. She will be princess someday! (Right?) Either way, the whole world was watching Kate Middleton’s wedding over a year ago (can you believe it’s been so long?!), and naturally, everyone had questions, especially about the stunning bride: Who was she wearing? Who did her hair? What makeup did she use? HOW DO I LAND A PRINCE, TOO?!?!!? (Sorry, that one was my question.) We last talked about her wedding makeup (and her love for thick eyeliner) here, but her scent was not really talked about until much later. It was also later revealed what her perfume of choice was of her wedding day: White Gardenia Petals by Illuminum, a gorgeous fresh floral scent featuring notes of lily, gardenia, ylang ylang, and jasmine. It’s been quite hard to find (as you can imagine), but America, rejoice (!) because the scent is available at Henri Bendel next week. For the rest of the world, you can buy it online here. What do you think of Kate’s choice for her wedding day? I approve, because I like anything gardenia (and less face it, anything Kate) and I really hope I get the chance to try it out someday. And for my readers who are married – what scent did you wear on your wedding day? :)
