Heidi Klum (whose husband Seal seems to enjoy a good pedicure!) has joined forces with beauty experts at Guthy-Renker and created In An Instant, a new skin care system that targets skin’s every need – exfoliation, hydration, wrinkle reduction, lifting, firming, and pore minimizing.
The line promises to to detoxify and guard against premature aging skin, hydrate dry skin, and minimize fine lines.
This innovative skin care system, developed with cutting-edge anti-aging ingredients instantly treats, diminishes and prevents wrinkles, large pores and skin imperfections, while building benefits over time.
One application, instant results!
Products include a Gentle Foaming Cleanser, Intensive Firming Serum, Instant Wrinkle Smoother, Instant Daily Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15, Instant Warming Scrub.
Of course I’m skeptical – don’t all dermatologists say that your skincare products need a full 6 weeks to work?
At only $29.95, it’s worth a try?!

Haven’t seen this anywhere…. maybe it’s not selling too well? haha.
I believe, it’s only available online, not in stores.
Thanks so much!
Haha, not too sure Melisa
I watched the infomercial and decided to try it for the half price offer. I called up and only after I gave out all my personal information, including my credit card number, did they reveal that it was a club membership and I’d be on a recurring payment plan for a 90 day supply. When I declined and asked for just the offer that was on the commercial I was told the only way to get it was through the club membership and I could mail back the 90 day supply if I wasn’t satisfied. I clearly said no thanks but now I am worried I will get the order anyway because they had already taken my information. I don’t want to have to deal with shipping costs to send back something I didn’t even want. I wanted to try one product and if it is as amazing as they say it is I’d buy more. That marketing strategy is not only a bait and switch but doesn’t bode well for how well the product works. Other products don’t have to use sneaky tactics to sell because they sell themselves. I tried to give feedback to the call representative and was told the only way to complain was through an address with a hand written letter. No email. That says they are trying to minimize negative feedback by making it as hard as possible to complain. That is why I chose to write here…to warn people. Heidi Klum this is a terrible PR move on your part. You’ve attached your name to a sketchy marketing scheme and I now think for you it’s all about the money whenever I see you.
Hey Tozz, thanks for sharing.
Sorry to hear it didn’t work out for you, at least you didn’t spend any money on anything yet! (And if they do send you an order maybe you can tell your credit card company about it.) The whole “snail mail only” for complaints is really weird, like you said, they must have a lot of negative feedback! Hope it all works out for you and thanks for sharing once again.
Good to know! I had the same experience with RezV AND AminoGenesis products – BAIT and SWITCH! BEWARE! Check out Rip off reports.com first!
Just minutes ago i’ve experianced the EXACTLY the same thing like Tozz11. After watching the infomercial, I called and the representetive quickly took my information and credit card number and then told me that it is a club membership that they will send me more so on so forth. I immedieatly cancelled my order, BUT i’m really worried what they are gonna do …. Very unpleasant way of sellinf stuff, very dissatified!
I really wanted to try the product!
I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you too, Karmen.
How disappointing to hear all this! Did they ever process the order for you without your consent, since they have your credit card number?
I never buy things off of television, but since I’m 35 and noticing fine lines, the skin care line sounded intriguing. I received my kit (for $39) within two days. I really wanted to like this skin care line, and I really like Heidi Klum, but this stuff is TERRIBLE. The list of ingredients are a mile long and the products have a bad odor. The serum made my normal skin break out (I’ve never had a product make me break out) and the tinted moisturizer cream made my skin look like it had a bad sunburn. I cannot believe that Heidi would endorse these products, and I’d be really surprised if she put them on her face.
Hey Tracie, thanks for your input. It’s great to hear someone actually received their product, from the comments above something seemed a little sketchy in terms of ordering. Thanks for filling us all in, I haven’t tried any of the products myself, so it was nice of you to tell us your experience, even if it was a terrible one! Hope your skin clears up and you find a better skin care regime soon.
I have been using this product for almost a year now and I LOVE IT! There is no unsual odor to it an it did no make me break out. To be honest with you, these are the first makeup creams that I could not feel on my face at all. I put both the firming serum and the tinted moisturizer on my face everyday and my face feels like it has nothing on. It makes your face feel clean and smooth. P.S. I’ve tried every infomercial out there (cindy crawford, jane seymore, bare essentials and I’m sure a few more that I can’t remember) and this is, by far, the best that I have tried. I hope to be using it for a long, long time.
I personally LOVE this product. My skin is so soft, so smooth, people are commenting on it! And yes, I was not wild about the ‘automatic’ product sending procedure, but I found out they are extremely flexible about the products they send, when they send them, it really is not an issue at all anymore.
thanks for the ratings….I hate the club plan for any product….if the product does what it says it does then people will use it. I decided to just keep using my Young Living Oil ART skin care products until I can try IAI…..for one low fee and not for 3 months…come on Heidi…..help us out here.
I really wanted to like this stuff and in the beginning my skin did look smoother and I actually liked the way my particular complexion coloring came out with the tinted moisturizer…but the wrinkle smoother did nothing (not that I was expecting a miracle, but it did absolutely nothing as they toted on the infomercial), I found the foaming cleanser very drying and made my face feel tight and dry and my forehead flaked up so much, not to mention the fact that now my face is breaking out unbelievably and at 48 that’s crazy! This all happened after just two weeks of use. I agree the smells are not good…to me, the tinted moisturizer smelled like paint!
I’ve always thought Heidi Klum was beautiful and she still is, but recently (before I had purchased the In and Instant) I saw her on a commercial for her new season of shows and I actually thought to myself, “gee, she’s really starting to show her age” …like all of us. I really noticed the wrinkles around her eyes. I guess that should’ve been my first clue not to buy this product or at the very least, that it doesn’t do what they say it does.
Heidi seems like such a sweet lady and I’m sure she is. She’d be disappointed to know so many people are not happy with this product.
Oh! On a positive note. I just cancelled my “membership” this morning and the woman on the phone was very pleasant and said I would not be charged anything further then the original $39.95 for the trial kit I received and has cancelled my membership. (I assume this went smoothly because my first 90 day shipment wasn’t due to ship until June 10th and I’m calling well in advance of that.)
i purchased this product about 6 weeks ago and i really like it. i agree, the whole membership and ordering was a pain, but they were very flexible in terms of spacing out shipments (i am having my 90 day supply replaced every 6 months, as i don’t use it at night). my skin seems tighter and smoother. my sister now uses it and likes it. the smell is kinda yuck and the “instant” instant reducer is not worth much, but i love the cleanser, warming face scrub, serum, and tinted moisturizer. i think it’s worth a try.
I have tried almost every infomercial on tv and have found ‘In and Instant’ to be the best so far.
I started using these products last year and then they stopped coming to my door. little did I know that my credit card was expired. I am going to reorder today because I’m out of the ‘instant’ reducer, which I love, and almost out of the tinted moisturizer, which I love as well.
Dont buy!! I tried it once, called to cancel, and they keep sending and charging me!! I’m reporting them to the better business bureau
Anyone got the 800 nmbr?? I’ve lost it!! Thanks.
Total rip-off, not even as good as Oil Of Olay, it seriously is NOT worth the $43.45 you paid, let alone the next $59.95 and they told me they would be taking that $59.95 out of my bank two more times and there was nothing I could do to stop them…………….. Oh —- NO they didn’t just tell me that???? Yes they did!! They said they wouldn’t be able to cancel the order in time to stop them taking money again in November and December. $223.45??? I don’t think so. I am calling my credit card first thing in the morning, that is called STEALING Heidi Klum, how could you put your good name to a product that steals peoples hard earned money without their permission? I have never ordered from an infomercial before and I never will again.
I really don’t think it is appropriate to comment in a review section without having actually tried a product but yet here I – and many of you! are… I have been raked over the coals in the past with “clubs” continuing to charge me regardless of who I contacted. ugh! What I can do and suggest is – go to ebay and buy it there – a one month (unopened) supply. That is what I am going to do – that way, love it or hate it, I am not Required to keep paying for it until God knows when!
It’s really sad that they do this bait and switch technique. If they’d just send you what you want, they’d probably sell more. I am one of those people who got tricked some time ago, and I will NEVER ever order something from a company with these dubious sales practices.
WOW! Really ? I can not believe how many people feel as I do regarding the auto pay and ship. Why am I surprised? Yes it was a bait and switch. And I paid rush because the infomercial sold me. I am 56 and have lovely skin and no wrinkles! So why did I order this? My husband I thought could try it . After one use we liked it . We both tried it. BUT only because of the order process will I send back the products and cancel my future orders. And ONLY because of the order process. This is not the fountain of youth by far. So I am willing to stop ordering it. Sad for Heidi unless she just chalks it up to “JUST BUSINESS”. Oh and by the way I was not clear on how the order process worked at first and neither was the gal that took my order she left me confused. So I asked for a supervisor on the floor. She stated no one was available so she took my number and said some one will be calling me. Sadly NO ONE ever did. I finally figured it out. Live and Learn! …. Right?
i can see so many feel just as i do. in my casee when your retired and you don’t need to buy make-up
as much as you do when you are working. i want to order something, and when it’s gone, i will order
again. SHEERCOVER did the same thing to me. they want to send me a free makeup bag, i don’t
nee one, i have 3 allready. if heidi klum business will let people order one thing or 2, then we would
re-order again and again. years ago i wore DEREMABLEND it covered everthing and i don’t need
it now. i do like the mineral makeup. what i don’t like is makeup coming automaticly. can you help me?
my comment was wiped out, can you email me with your rules.
The downfall about this product is that the amount supplied for 30 days is way too insuficient. I loved the Firming Syrum, but ran out of it within just 2 weeks of using. This means its double the price. I can’t afford it. I did not even have the chance to see real results.
This In An Instant stuff in GARBAGE! First of all- it STINKS! I have to admit I didn’t use it for very long, but I saw no improvements. And the signature product- the In An Instant wrinkle smoother….. you’re better off rubbing candle wax on your wrinkles for all the good it does! It’s thick and nasty and completely ineffective. And the “tinted moisturizer”…. I am sorry my skin tone isn’t the same as Heidi Klum’s….. I look like I am wearing an orange mask since the tint is much darker than my natural skin tone. Seriously? If you’re going to have a product with “tint” offer color options!
And it’s a scam. You go online to order and of course they try to get you to order a 90 day supply instead of just 30 day. They tell you the price is $49.95- you “add it to your cart” and it’s for $49.95. You receive your confirmation email- and they tell you your total is $49.95. If you rip apart the shipping docs on your product box- it tells you that you will be billed 2 more payments of $49.95. Of course I hadn’t done that, so when I called to cancel additional shipments I was told that I would be billed 2 additional payments. Lesson learned for me. I am returning the product. Of course, the credit most likely will not be processed until after they’ve takent he second payment.
Bottom line- don’t waste your money!
I just received my trial size package. I tried all the products tonight. My face felt baby soft after using them. I think they smell nice. While I was ordering the the representative was very clear in informing me of the full price of the full size line and that it would ship automatically and that I would be charged automatically. You are also able to cancel at anytime or you can set how frequently your shipments arrive. I like this product, however I may not continue it because of price of the full size line.
I ordered this for my wife from the in an instant website 33 days ago. Just noticed the second charge to my card posted yesterday for the auto ship that was not disclosed or was otherwise buried in fine print. When I called to complain & get my money back I was told, “you should have read more carefully.”…. No I beg your pardon you should have read your own website more carefully 60 day money back guarantee my ass. Results less than promised, way overpriced, and I’ve had less difficulty transacting my last car purchase.
No offense to anyone, but if you actually pay attention to the Infomercial, it is quite apparent that the offer is club-based. This is how Guthy-Renker always operates and I do not think it should reflect poorly upon Heidi herself, she’s a business woman working with a well-established company using a proven business model.
What SHOULD matter is the quality and efficacy of the product. If that delivers, then I presume we would all want to reorder anyway and 90 days is a reasonable interval. Frankly, I hope it works as it will save me time and money from having to get in the car and going to a department store. I will update after I’ve used it…
I really, really wanted to try this product, but after reading the ingredients and seeing all the parabens, I decided that I will have to find something else.
I have been wanting to purchase this product for a while now and am on this computer this morning to do so. I just found this commentary and so happy that I did so. If it had not been for the male’s comment about purchasing online, I probably still would be ordering from the internet to try it. How dissapointing. I am so happy that we have the internet to communicate with each other now! Thanks everyone! Shame on you Heidi for just trying to make another buck!
i tried this and tho i have always had some pimples i have never had cystic acne til i used these products. throwing them away.
