And to my Mom… where do I even begin? Well, first of all I am sorry for posting up a picture on my blog. I know you forbid me to ever post pics of you because apparently you’ve “had a bad hair day for the past 30 years” but I love this photo too much! (Taken 2 years ago on a cruise.) Thank you for everything. Thank you for being my biggest cheerleader, supporter, comforter, and for never giving up on me. You’re the best mama in the world and a wonderful, loving, amazing human being. I want to be just like you. Happy Mother’s Day, I love you Mom.

And yes, my Dad is the Danish one! He came from Copenhagen, Denmark to Singapore for work and met my Mom through a mutual friend… had their first date at a concert (jealous!!!) and the rest is history.

Hmm… I know you’re gonna hate me but I suppose it’s just my genes. I’ve been tall and scrawny all my life (apart from last year when I had a health problem that made me put on a lot of weight, but I’ve since lost it all.) As you can see my Mom is slim and she tells me she’s been the same weight since she was 18! My Dad is also very tall and slim, so I really think it must be my parents!

The photo above is actually from 2 years ago, but yes, I’m happy to report that I have “defeated” PCOS and have lost the weight, acne, mood swings and whatnot.
And sure, that’s a good idea… I’ll write an ‘update’ post very soon! Thanks for the suggestion.
