Well, they say it takes 6 weeks to really know a product, so I guess I can talk about these, my two current hair essentials. :) Before I begin, let me explain what I would like in my hair: I just want it messy. I want bed-head, sex-hair, rocker-hair, haven’t-brushed-it-in-a-year-hair; whatever you call it, I just want it messy! I want a lot of texture, a lot of grit and a lot of messiness.
… And so, I think I can safetly say I have found the products that help me achieve that! For my “messy hair” mission, I first bought Bumble and Bumble’s famous Suft Spray, after hearing so many good things about it. While I thought it was good, it wasn’t enough messiness for me, so I kept looking. I tried their Styling Lotion, and finally, their Bb. Texture Hair Undressing Creme; and I will stop here, because this is just perfect! This thick, sticky gel gives a thick, gritty, crunchy feel to my hair which I love. I was fine with just that, but then I was gifted some products by Toni & Guy, so I added one of their amazing products to my hair routine: Casual Sea Salt Texturizing Spray. I spray it especially at the roots, and it gives that I-spent-the-day-on-the-beach look. I am impressed by this product, it’s way better than Bumble and Bumble’s salt spray. They both work well by themselves, but because I want EXTRA mess I put them together and it works perfectly fine. So happy! Next on my list is Bumble and Bumble’s Thickening Hairspray, which I hope will “seal” in all my work with these two products.
I bought my Bumble and Bumble Bb. Texture Hair Undressing Creme online here, and Toni & Guy’s Casual Sea Salt Texturizing Spray is available at Watsons.

Would love to see a pic of your ‘messy’ hair. I have tried many different products to try to achieve this ‘messy’ look which I love, but after an hour or so using those, my hair just look kinda straight and boring. :(
Hey Molly! I know what you mean. I totally forgot to write about the staying power of these products! For me, it’s 2 hours max, and then I just fluff it with my hands and then it’s good for another hour… just keep playing with your hair, I guess! But they are both really good. I just need to get hairspray and I think it’ll be perfect.
As far as a picture, I will be posting up an outfit post later tonight and I am using both these products so you can see if it’s “messy” enough for you. :)
