Freezing in Copenhagen!!!

I hope you’ve enjoyed some of my photos of my Summer 2009 in Europe… I don’t know why it took 1 1/2 years for me to post them up! Anyway, like I’ve mentioned, I first went to Rome and Milan, Italy, then London, England, and then finished in Copenhagen, Denmark to visit family. And though I took a total of 700 (!!!) photos in Italy and England… I took ONE in Denmark! Or rather, my Dad took one.

By the time I got to Denmark I was so exhausted by all the traveling, plus DK was unbelievably cold – so I was pretty miserable and ready to get home to Singapore. This photo explains the weather perfectly! It was cold, wet and windy – not my idea of fun! Here’s my Mom and I totally over the weather and my Dad, aunts and cousin (who are obviously used to Danish weather) were laughing at us so much he took this picture. You can see how windy and wet it was, ’cause the photo came out so grainy and look at that poor guy’s umbrella! The wind was insane. Still, it was so nice visiting family. The cold weather makes the house so cozy, and I really liked it… minus the photo above, where we decided to go to town one day. After that, I was like NO MORE and we stayed indoors for the rest of the week, chatting, catching up, and eating! Perfect ending to a great summer.
