I have always loved the skin im in.. never regretted it.. although there are people when i was in singapore (it's a typical asian mentality) and even friends who try to make me feel otherwise..though it never mattered to me.. but what surprised me was when I lived here in australia however, I have had girls coming up to me and complimenting me on my skin colour.. The grass is always greener on the other side..

It's most important to embrace yourself the way you are.. Beauty radiates from within...
And just to add, Im glad that there are more make up products catered to warmer skin tones now than before ... So all's good! :D

I live in Los Angeles, land of fake tans and well, fake everything. It's really refreshing to see people without Oompa Loompa tans, bleached hair, and those huge bug-eye sunglasses, but it's rare. It's so funny how being tan is ideal in the West, but being pale is the ideal in the East. My light-skinned friends envy my natural tan here, but when I visit family in Thailand they always say things like, "you're so pretty, but you'd look even prettier if you lightened your skin." I pretty much tell them to kiss my tan-skinned booty, but in a much nicer way, of course, ha! I'm all for embracing natural skin color, too!

P.S. "Love the skin you're in" is Olay's slogan. :)

Oh I think you misunderstood me! I wasn't offended or anything, I was just explaining why I used to tan.
