Gong Xi Fa Cai to everyone who celebrates it! I’m starting the Chinese Year of the Dragon – my year!!! Any other dragon babies (born in 1988) here? – with Clarins’ Gloss Prodige Intense Color & Shine lip gloss (yes, my obsession with lipgloss still continues!). I don’t think I even have to say it, do I? This lipgloss is fantastic! These are my lips, completely naked except for the lipgloss.
This color is Grenadine, which looks very red in the tube (that’s why I wanted it for CNY!), but comes out quite slightly more pink. It’s more intense than this, but I didn’t apply too much, but you can layer it for more intensity - the amount of color it has is very impressive. It’s not only incredibly pigmented but the moisturizing properties are superb, but my favorite bit is that it also smells like Frutella chewy fruit candies – SO yummy. I can’t stop smelling the tube!

I been wearing Burts & Bees TInted Lip Balm in Pink Blossom and I love how it enhances the natural color of my lip!
(I know this is off topic but I'm new to using makeup and I was wondering if you could recommend any good pressed powers to use as foundation. I don't have alot to cover so I want light-medium coverage. I been using Skin79 VIP Gold for a while and I love it but it gives off a dewy finish and has spf 25 but I want something Matte and not too much spf cause its not good for photography, I wouldnt want my face ghost white in pictures hahha. I'm looking for a good matte powder, cause prom is coming up.. :3 I've heard good things about Smashbox Halo, Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder, and MUFE Duo Mat Powder Foundation but i dont know which to choose. I'm planning to go to Sephora soon to check them out but I'm wondering if you have any others you would recommend and also if you have any tip for Prom heheh )

Compact powder foundations are usually quite thick, so maybe you’d want to try a loose powder? Those are light/medium coverage. I like Clinique’s Superbalanced powder Makeup, it’s super easy to use! I’m still obsessed with my Clinique Chubby Stick, in Mega Melon. The colour comes out a bit like that too!

I LOVE Mega Melon… it’s very red and very much like this, I suppose the difference is that the Clarins one is slightly more pink and in a lipgloss form. There are so many good lip products out there now!
I am a newly converted Chubby Stick gal! My colour is Whoppin’ Watermelon.
I love this product. Not too matte, not too shiny, with a little moisture and lovely flush of colour. Perfect!

I just got YSL Volupte Sheer Candy glossy lipbalm and i am so in love with it. Its moisturizing like a lipbalm and only covers your lips with a sheer, little glossy sparkly layer, and the actual lipstick/gloss loks fabulous as most ysl products…xoxo
