Nails of the Moment: Rosie Lee

Butter London Rosie Lee Nail Polish
I’m starting off the Chinese New Year weekend with a cool glittery pink nail polish named Rosie Lee by Butter London, which you can get online at NatureLova in Singapore. The picture doesn’t do it justice (maybe ’cause it’s 1am and it’s kinda dark?!) but it is such a cool rosy pink color and shines like no other. It’s my first time trying out Butter London, too. After hearing so many great things about it, I must admit I will have to be very boring and just say what everyone else is: it’s wonderful! It contains no formaldehyde, toluene, DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate) or parabens, and has the Leaping Bunny stamp of approval, which means absolutely no animal testing was involved. Yay!

Have you tried any nail polishes from Butter London? What do you think of them? I also topped Rosie Lee off with their Hardware P.D. Quick Topcoat, love that as well!

I LOVE Butter London nail polishes – and for the first time it’s one I don’t have to order online! I can buy it on the high street :D haha, for example I love OPI polishes too but it’s so hard to find them in a store here, and the stores that do stock OPI look really dodgy and I avoid buying them because they’re probably fakes :/

I’ve noticed that Butter London doesn’t chip for absolutely ages on my nails, which is always a plus, and you don’t need layers upon layers of it for a good coverage :D

I love them too! I don’t love the price though, eeeks. It’s more expensive than OPI here (OK by like 2 bucks, but still…). I really love that it doesn’t have those nasty ingredients and that’s it’s cruelty free. :)

Rosie Lee looks pretty! :P Personally, I love this Butter London shade that I tried at a nail salon, called “The Dark Knight” (http://www.bathandunwind.com/brands/butter-london/darks/Butter-London-3-Free-Nail-Lacquers-Big-Smoke.htm#mu=%2Fcategories%2FButter-London-3-free-Nail-Lacquer-The-Black-Knight.htm%3Fajax%3Dtrue%26cb%3D96717429); super dense multi-coloured glitter on a black shade! :D

Now I’m eyeing this shade, ‘Slapper’… http://www.revolveclothing.com/DisplayProduct.jsp?product=BLON-WU3&c=butter+LONDON … Hmmmmm

I was actually looking at Slapper too, but I thought since I don’t have any pinks, I’ll choose Rosie Lee… hmm butter LONDON is so good!

I saw Butter London’s collection of colours at Takashimaya Basement 1. Thier colours are quite unconventional, the Spring/Summer collection looks great!

Wow that’s a gorgeous nail polish. I have a real weakness for nail art, not to mention glitter polishes! I’m definitely going to check out the site you mentioned.
