Beauty Shopping in London

While Italy was more sightseeing and having dinners that made me pass out, London was all about shopping for me. I am in love with Boots and Selfridges, and saw a NARS counter for the first time in my life.

You can’t really see, but that is a NARS counter smack in the middle. Look at Christine’s face! She’s ready to shop! Unfortunately I have no other photos of Selfridges because after this shot a security guard told me off. (More on that later!

Brands included the usual, and the news ones for me: Aveda, Bare Escentuals, Bond No. 9 (which I love), Duwop, Dr. Hauskha, Korres, and the new Illamasqua, or as I like to call it, Illa-something, touted to be the British version of M.A.C. It looked really good to me. I also got a chance to peak at the new Dolce & Gabbana makeup line, and Christine very secretly took this photo.

However, you are free to snap away at Harrod’s, and that’s what I did!

One of the places you must go if you’re ever in London is Harrods – it has everything and it was great! I particularly liked the beauty brands they carried.

Sure, it looks like every other beauty department but brands that were new to me (at least ‘seeing’ a counter for the brands) were Rock & Republic, Chantecaille and Laura Mercier.

Overall… I love beauty shopping in London! We went to Selfridges, Harrods, and a few other streets I can’t remember. Christine and I got all sorts of hair stuff and I finally bought the famous NARS Orgasm blusher. A fun afternoon. :) After we went for dinner and then chilled all night at her place.
