I have some awesome news to share. Beauty Fool and I had a feature in TELVA, the biggest selling women’s magazine in Spain… squeal! I am under a section about beauty bloggers (in their special Beauty issue that comes with this month’s issue), and I cannot thank Patricia, the writer, enough for featuring me.

Here is a translation by Bella, a reader. Thank you so much, Bella!:
“This young lover of literature and beauty decided one day to join her passion and start her blog, Beauty Fool, which is now the most popular in Singapore. There are a few local and international magazines who have voiced the success: The Singapore’s Women’s Weekly, Urban, Custome Skonhed Denmark… so much so, that she did not hesitate to say her current profession is a blogger, although she studied communications and worked on fashion magazines. “I dedicate myself fully to the blog, not only to write but also search for content and marketing of advertising in it”, says Renee.
In her blog, beauty fools from all over the world find a kind of diary: Renee talks about her beauty rituals, evaluates cosmetics that arrive to her hands acting like a total prescriptive and, although she denies the dictates of fashion runway about beauty trends, she likes Versace. “It has always been a beauty trends to me in their shows. I love the smokey eyes and the sexy hairstyles on the models,” she says.
Besides beauty, Renee writes about fitness, health and fashion and she says that for her the most important value to pass is the self-esteem. ‘My purpose is that Beauty Fool is a place of inspiration for all the beauty-crazy, especially the interaction between us, we are a community!”
In the article I was to name my favorite products (on the right in the picture above), which are Calvin Klein’s CK One perfume, Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, Nivea hand cream, and my rare beauty item is Valentio V Absolut perfume, which has been discontinued.
Also, just one correction, I don’t find advertising/or marketing for my blog! It has come organically, I have no idea how to do that on my own anyway, haha. And I’m not sure if I’m the most popular beauty blog in Singapore? I can only hope!
Either way, welcome to any new readers I might have from Spain, please introduce yourselves, I would love to meet you! I am so happy for this feature, I’ve been eagerly awaiting it! Thank you, first and foremost to God for this blessing.

Aw thanks so much Idaira! Maybe the ??? bits that I couldn’t get? Thanks so much!
Congratulations girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I read the translation and the original. Relax, they wrote that you “studied” and not that you still “studying” comunication, so “don’t worry, be happy”
I did a translation in which I could solve the “…?…?…?…?” parts. I didn’t want to public it now because of respect, you are the author of the blog. I have no problem in send it to you, just let me know or send me an e-mail.
Congratulations again!
Bella.
Haha thanks Bella! Yeah the online translation sometimes doesn’t make sense! If you could fill in the blanks for me that would be so helpful, thank you! You can just write it here, no worries. It just didn’t make sense in the online translator so I didn’t know what to put in English.
Thanks so much Bella.
xx
Congrats! Keep it up
Thanks Mariana!
I’m so happy u’re going places, Renee! As a fellow Singaporean and lover of your blog! xoxo
Oh Isabel, thank you so much!
xx
I too, am happy for you Renee. (and for Singapore too, hehe) I remember one time, many years ago when I was in a hotel in Madrid, I wanted to make a phone call home, and the receptionist asked ‘where on earth is Singapore’????? Haha.
Hahahah I know! People barely know where Singapore is! I normally get “is it in China?” Haha! Thanks so much Molly. xx
Ok, here is my best try:

They used “beauty fools” as the blog readers… we are all a bunch of fools, yeah! lol.
I hope this help
Omg Bella, thank you SO much. I will edit the post now and give you credits for the translation! xx
