This is literally yesterday’s news, but I wanted to share with you all something so special that happened to me yesterday.
Basically, there was an article called Are Blogs Now Brands? in Singapore’s national paper, The Straits Times, and yours truly and Beauty Fool were given a special mention! My Mom woke me up early in the morning and told me the good news and I couldn’t believe it!
Special thanks to Jonathan Holburt, The Straits Times, and of course my wonderful God! I am beyond humbled, honored, excited… you have no idea. This mention is such a great blessing for Beauty Fool and I’m still on a “high” from it!
Thank you to all my readers who have continued to read my blog, you all have NO IDEA how much it means to me. I’d also like to say a big WELCOME to new readers from The Straits Times. 
(Oh… and some have asked me about that photo. I think I was 15 in that photo, so it’s a bit out of date. Don’t I look really young?! Gotta love the over-tweezed eyebrows… eek!)

Thank you for sharing this article so that we may share in your mention but also because the blogging platform is gaining momentum here in South Africa and it’s great to read about research done into the influence of bloggers as brand progressors.
