Welcome to Beauty Fool! My name is Renee Lorentzen and I am the creator of the site.

Beauty Fool is a Singapore beauty blog that I started while in college late one night because I love to write. After gaining a degree in Communications in 2010, I became a writer at a women’s fashion magazine, only to realize Beauty Fool was my “true love”; and, as of January 2012, made Beauty Fool my full-time job. I have been very blessed and have had Beauty Fool featured locally in The Straits Times, Harper’s Bazaar, 938LIVE, URBAN, Yahoo! News, JUICE, The Singapore’s Women’s Weekly and Seventeen, as well as internationally in Vogue (Italy), Stella (Norway), TELVA (Spain) and Costume (Denmark and Norway), amongst others. Vogue Italia named Beauty Fool one of the best 10 beauty blogs, and Beauty Fool was the only nominated blog from Asia for Best Beauty Blog in the Cosmopolitan UK Blog Awards 2010, was Escentuals UK’s Runner Up in Blog of the Year 2012 and 2nd Runner Up in Glam’s Top Asia Bloggers in 2012.
