Finding a pair of shoes is a big deal for me. I’m a size 39EU, and sometimes 40, especially for sport shoes. Since Asians tend to wear smaller sizes, shops normally just bring in one pair of the ‘big’ size, 39, and on rare occasions, 40. So shoe shopping for me is all about luck – not only do I have to be lucky to see if the shop brought in my size, I also have to hope that no one got it before me! Because of this, I hardly go shoe shopping.
So I was extremely pleased last month when I walked by Calvin Klein and saw their shoes were on sale. I love the word ‘sale’ (who doesn’t?!) so I walked in to try my luck, and success! They carried my size! I tried on many pairs, but settled on this pair of blue flats – I really love the bright, electric blue. Since I wear a lot of black, these shoes will be a nice pop of color to my outfits. And if not, I wear a lot of blue as well so it will match! Bottom line? I adore my new shoes! Such a great buy.
What was your last great buy?

Love the shoes, they are beautiful!
Thanks Gio!
OMG. Those are one pair of killer flats. Love it!
ps. We have the same shoe size.
Thanks! I love them too. Girl where’ve you been?! Haha
Hi Beauty fool! I love chocolate, but my skin reacts bad on it, aka. I get acne. I hate dark chocolate, and I’ve been trying to stay away from all that has with chocolate to do, but it’s like the chocolate is tapping on my back, wanting me to turn around so it can jump into my mouth. I’m dying here! Please, please and please help me!
Lots of hugs // Lenore.
Btw, my blog’s in Swedish.
Hey Lenore. Hmm… that sucks!
I love chocolate too. Um, I’m not sure really, but I suppose you can either get your acne fixed with medication, or just cut down on eating chocolate a lot. Alternatively you can probably go to a dermatologist, it’s weird that chocolate will have that effect on you… acne is a hormonal thing so the food you eat shouldn’t effect it.
Sorry I couldn’t help more
P.S. Your blog is so cute! Even though I can’t understand a word, haha. It seems I am getting a lot of Swedish readers recently, that’s awesome! I love Sweden
Hello,
I live in Brazil and over here most of us girls goes to dermatologist and have skin care products prescribed by the doctor. Of course we can’t resist to buy the brands we like as well, but the products prescribed by the dermatologist are especially for our own specific needs – not only something generic like “oily skin” or ‘dry skin”, for instance. And cost a lot less (but of course it may varies according to where one lives). But I diverge… my point is, if you’re having a hard time with acne, go to the doctor, I’ve got plenty of friends who have now porcelain skin after years of really, really bad cases of acne… bad as the entire faced covered with spots. Always, not only after indulging some delicious chocolates. People with the more complicated cases had treatment with drugs such as Isotretinoin, but many of them only needed topic treatment. One of the most usual is topic retinoic acid, which I’ve been using for many years for my really oily skin (thankfully no acne), and it also happens to be the product that has cientific proof to keep one’s skin looking younger. It has to be prescribed to a doctor (can’t be bought without prescription) and also it can’t be used if one is going under the sun, so it’s better to start the treatment during the winter. No girl should have to live with acne, let alone with acne because of chocolates.

Hope it helps!
I LOVE sales, too!
And that blue is super gorge… I read that you like to wear black a lot so those should provide a great pop of colour to your outfits.
Who doesn’t eh?! Haha… I go a bit crazy when I see that word.
And yes! I wear way too much black… I am trying to cut down on it though, I’ve had too many comments on it and am starting to get a little tired of black myself! My new favorite is gray and navy blue, which isn’t exactly that much of a difference but oh well XD
We’re the same shoe size… so I can borrow these, right?
I remember when I was 12 (and really skinny) I went to Singapore and tried to buy clothes. I had to buy the BIGGEST size and even then, grew out of them quickly because Singaporeans are sooo small!
You can most definitely borrow them!
So cool that we’re the same shoe size… I’ve always been known as “big foot” – never met someone with my shoe size
And yeah, I totally understand! The range of sizes are much better now in shops like Topshop, Zara, etc… but the smaller local shops all carry ridiculously small sizes, so I know exactly what you mean!
I personally wear a lot of blacks too! I’m trying to break into colors, and it’s stuff like these flats that inspires me to keep at it.
My latest great buy is a really cute black coat from Forever 21 that was also on sale (yay!). I’m on a lookout for a red coat to have some colored items in my closet. Wish me luck =]
PS: We’re the same shoe size.
Haha another one with my shoe size? I can’t believe it! I thought I was weird for having such big feet (so say my friends) haha.
And I’m trying to break into colors as well! Good luck!
Don’t worry about your shoe size, I’m a size 41 EU!! Now that’s big, eh? haha.. I’ve always had big feet but thank god when I was about 16 they stopped growing… My big feet are probably my least favourite part of my body because even in Europe it’s sometimes hard to find shoes that size that still look good… I feel like wearing a clown’s shoes sometimes haha
Oh well, can’t do much about it, right?
And I love love love your shoes, now that spring’s just about to come they should come in handy
Adorable design but what makes me think that it’s not absolutely fantastic is the color. I really don’t like metallic one since I can’t wear them regularly and it doesn’t fit any dress nor clothes. And I don’t wanna be looking like a manic for wearing so may kinds of color, all I want is to look simple yet beautiful and presentable in such a way that I can be recognize by the people around me.
