You know how you’re in the club looking all hot and then poof! there appears Prince Charming, but right before he sweeps you off your feet, you walk up to him and stumble in your glass slippers because they don’t ‘stay’ on properly? Or does this only happen to dorks like me?
Anyway, for those who love wearing high heels but hate the way your foot can sometimes ‘slip’ in them and make you walk funny (especially when they’re a little loose or has a weird design), here’s a handy little trick to keep your feet firmly in your shoe …
Lightly spray hairspray to your foot (all around, but especially on your sole), wait 5 seconds (not too long so the hairspray doesn’t dry completely) and then place your foot in your heel. You’ll have a firm fit the whole night, and there’ll be no weird wobbly stumbles in your sexy shoes! Although I can’t promise it won’t feel a little sticky, but it definitely works.

Sounds like a great (albeit slighty sticky) idea. Although I try not to buy shoes that don’t fit right, sometimes they are just so cute you don’t mind suffering!
Haha, I admit I cannot stand suffering, even for cute shoes! Sometimes though it fits right, but the heel can be so high that your foot automatically slips forward a bit – not sure if I explained correctly on the post, but that’s what I meant… and yes it is quite sticky
I rarely wear heels because even with flats I already tower over most of the people here. I don’t want to feel like Yao Ming in the middle of Manila hahaha. But that’s a neat trick! I gotta try that some time, for the rare instances I wear heels.
Same here! How tall are you? I’m considered tall in Asia but back in Denmark I’m completely average!
Great idea, but I prefer using shoe inserts made for high heels. Dr. Scholl’s makes good ones that also make heels a little more comfy (http://www.drscholls.com/drscholls/productSearch.do?method=doProductDetailsLookup&searchArg=93). Not sure if those are available in Singapore though.
Thanks for the link, Tammy. Doesn’t work for me but I think I know which ones you mean. I like them too but I find them so bulky, esp for shoes a little tight. I tried a few one night and my foot was busting out of my shoe, it was so ridiculous!
But I am glad they work for you haha.
